SUMMER SATUDAY

Today was a fun filled day of fundraisers, sports and fun. We started out at 10am with a Cheerleading Chicken Sale at the local IGA parking lot. The girls cheered from the parking lot trying to get people in to buy the chicken dinners.
This is Coco selling chicken to her Papa! Of course he drove up to support the cause!

At 1:30 we had to be a the ball park for a softball game. It was so hot. I sure got some sun. Our team played awesome and won 13-7..... YEAH!!!

After the game Scott and I were so hot we just wanted to come sit in the airconditionng and relax. Coco called her BFF that had been on vacation and she came over. They played with the water hose for awhile and just caught up on whatever happens in a 9 year olds life. They are sure happy to be together again. Aren't they having fun! I love the look on their faces! Cold water on a hot day!

I am being lazy and not wanting to do anything.

Hope your Saturday is awesome
Blessings,
Pam

Hi blog world

I've missed you.

Here are a few photos of what I have been doing. The photos got out of order and I can't get them to move so here they are.

This is Pizza Spaghetti Casserole. I'm sorry to the blogger that I got this from but I can't remember where I found it. I made it tonight and it was yummy. Both Coco and Scott wanted 2Nd's. that is when I know it was good. She's kinda picky!!!!

The photo above is the damage I did at Kirklands on my lunch break today. They were having a big sale. I love my "C" pillow and the wooden letter. The smaller lamp was $11.48 and it has a linen type shade with leopard print inside. Really cute. The rooster lamp was only $11.18 and looks good in my dining room. the other set is for the bathroom, toothbrush holder, lotion dispenser and soap holder. I got all that for $60 bucks. I am so proud. Except I am supposed to be doing the Dave Ramsey baby steps. I have to leave that debit card at home. Gotta gotta gotta, so I can live like no one else now so that I can live like no one else later!!!!!!!!

This is what we have been doing alot of! 3 more games and I can stay home after work and relax and enjoy my home. Oh I just can't wait!

We also have done a little bit of this and look forward to daily visits real soon!

Other than that my house is a wreck, my laundry is clean but piled sky high waiting for someone to fold it, the floors are yucky and you can't see out the patio door for the doggie slobbers. Who needs a clean house when you are having all this fun!
Right?
Don't you agree?
Yea it is hump day so only 2 more days until the weekend! I have a wedding on Saturday but other than that I am free to do as I please.
Wait I almost forgot Father's Day! I guess Sunday nap is out of the question.
I have to go get Scott a present. Don't tell him but he is getting a metal detector. I think he already knows, since he told me which one to buy and how much it costs!
We aren't big secret keepers around here. Like I am probably getting a Nikon D 60 for my birthday next month. Thank you honey I love you even if you can't do surprises........
Like he is going to read this! he won't get me a laptop because he says I will go to the bedroom to blog or read blogs and that will take me away from him and Coco. What does he think I'm addicted to blogging or something!

Where have I been???

This is where we have been most of this week. This is from this morning. That is my girl pitching. THEY WON! Yea! They beat a team that was undefeated until today. That was a lot of fun. It really helped their moral!

Yesterday was the last day of school and we took Coco for ice cream. We now have a third grader! She is growing up way to fast!
More ball games and practices. We have been at the ball field 4 days out of 6 this week and we will be there probably 3-4 days next week.

Since we were in Florida on Mothers Day we took my mom (Mimi) to Mimi's Cafe for lunch today. She had never been there before. She loved it, she ordered the Chicken Pot Pie which was almost to pretty to eat. I had my usual Grilled Liver yum yum and it is only 4 points for all of it. We won't talk about the mashed potatoes and gravy.
After lunch we went to TJ Maxx and boy did I find some bargains. I found a King size mattress pad for $20.00, a shower curtain for $5.00 and a long rug for the bath for $15.00
I came home and clean the bathroom from top to bottom and put up all the new stuff. It looks like a new room. I will post a photo of it tomorrow.
I also found some brown patten leather espadrilles. They are adorable!
We have had a great day, Scott got started on cleaning our little pool so hopefully we can be playing in it by next weekend. He got more of my plants in the ground too.
It is a good day when you can look around and see what you have accomplished.
I am looking forward to church tomorrow. I haven't been in 4 weeks. Thursday I went to our local daycare to sign Colby up for summer and I saw 1 of my little Sunday schoolers. She didn't recognize me at first because I had gotten a shorter hair cut and I am wearing my contacts more. When I told her I was Ms. Pam she ran into my arms and had the biggest smile on her face. It made my day. She is a twin so I had to go out to see the other and she calls me Ms. Ham. They were so excited to see me and kept giving me lots of hugs and lots of questions. Can't to see them all tomorrow.
Have a great Sunday!

TRYING AGAIN

Ok I am going to try to post some of the photos from the weekend.
This is my mama trying to ride Colby's old bike. Cool Mom huh? You wouldn't know she is turning 60 this year. Good to see her playing and having fun.

Colby's Lemonade stand was a big hit. She made $9.75

This is me with the big dead deer on my shoulder........ We had a very good weekend. The garage sale was successful, Colby and I attended a Mother/Daughter Craft Tea with Jen from The Angel Company. Here are the things we made: a cool card purse using envelopes, a box to hang on your door for notes , a card and a note pad with pencil using Bind it All. I now have to get this Binding machine it is awesome.

We just got home from Colby's softball game. We lost by 1 point and if we had a umpire that knew what she was doing we would have tied 3 to 3. This is the best coach we have ever had. He loves those girls and he makes sure everyone plays and has fun. IT WAS SO COLD!!!! I thought for sure it was like 35 degrees but when we left the truck said 58, well that was the coldest 58 I have felt in a while .

I am distracted trying to watch this. I hope he choses Shayne. What about you who do you think he should pick? Matt is by far my favorite Bachelor. Maybe it is that accent, he is hottie for sure.

Everyone have a terrific tuesday!

Pam

Busy Bee

Sorry I haven't posted in a few days. Been really really busy trying to get ready for a garage sale. I have too much junk. But I hope it will be treasures to others and I make loads of money for our vaca.... Maybe I will splurge at the Coach outlet in Destin. I really want a Coach bag. I don't know why but I do. I think they are super cute. I would link one but I haven't figured out how to do that yet.

It is raining again tonight. I am so sick of rain. We will be playing softball in December if we keep getting rained out.

I can't believe that the school year is almost over. Our lives seem to get so busy at this time of year. Girl scouts are ending, ball is starting, finding daycare for the summer, and I just found out that cheerleading is starting in July, and I am sending Colby to etiquette camp in July and she wants to go to a overnight weeklong camp too. I really need a wife to help me with all this stuff. Maybe the group in Texas has it right with 10 wives to a man (just kidding) but can you imagine what all they get done and get to do it with a buddy all the time. Weird I know.

It is 10 pm and I have more tutu's to finish before tomorrow nite.

Pray it doesn't rain on Friday and Saturday and we have a successful garage sale. Nothing is coming back home if I can help it.

Will be back on Sunday. Blessings until then.
