WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER

I have been so busy with Christmas and putting it away I almost forgot about winning a giveaway from Ms. Rhoda. I won her giveaway to Listplanit.

Oh my if you are a lover of lists then you will love love love this site. She has like a gazillion lists, for anything you can imagine.

I have just spent the last hour looking through them and choosing some that i can use in a our family organizer.

Ms. Rhoda thank you so much for the giveaway!

Today was the first day of my 5 day vacation!!! I got all of my Christmas taken down and put back in tubs. I have 12 tubs of Christmas and that is not counting the couple with lights and greenery in them! I am glad the house looks put back together but the magic is gone too...

New Years Eve tomorrow. Do you all have big plans?? Scott wants to go to go hang out with some friends but it is an hour away and he wants to spend the night but I want to come home so I don't know what we will do. We usually spend it at home and everyone is asleep before midnight (well except me, I never make it before midnight). I like to be home in my own bed come morning! He asked if I wanted to stay there from Thursday til Sunday so we could watch the Razorbacks play in the Liberty Bowl. I asked him if he was crazy! I like home way to much.

Whatever you do please be safe!
Happy New Year

I am off to work on my new year resolutions using my list from LIST PLAN IT!
Blessings,
Pam

WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER

Okay all the names are in the bowl................

Coco doing the honors..............................

And the winner is 4 SHEPHERDS!

Congratulations, I know your girls are going to love this tradition! You might have to get 50 books so that they each have a set when they leave home......

Now a little sneak peak at my December Daily Christmas Album. These are all the rage in the scrapbooking world beginning with Ali Edwards, I think. Anyhoo, I have wanted to do one every year and just hadn't gotten around to it. I found a regular photo album the other day with a "C" monogrammed on the front and thought this could be my daily album. Here is what I have so far.
Front page of album or title page

Page 1, I can fill each page with journaling and/or photos, lists, thoughts, quotes, etc.

Each day will be different. My plan is to print my photos each day and document our December. I will be doing 31 days instead of just the 25. That way I will have a record of the entire month of what we doing in 2009!!!!
Blessings,
Pam

WALMART AND A GIVEAWAY

Have you been through the craft department in Walmart lately? Our local Walmarts have all taken their fabrics and lots of the crafts out of the stores. I went through it tonight after work and look what I found.

Sewing kits for aprons. I didn't look close enough to see if the patterns were included but it appears that they are.
Fleece and fabric.

Precut squares for quilting.

A tote bag. The front says everything you need to make this.
Now to the GIVEAWAY! In my last post I told you about our new tradition of 25 days of Christmas reading. While out and about this week I found these 2 books below to add to our collection. I also bought extra to giveaway to YOU! The winner can start their own tradition of reading!

Leave a comment telling me your favorite Christmas story and I will pick a winner on Monday night! Tell all your friends!!!!

GIVEAWAY WINNER

Hi ya'll!

I used the random generator and the winning comment is #2 Candie! Email me at creech03(at)cox(dot)net with your mailing address and I will get your postit note holder out to you!

I have great news! I will be employed as of next Monday! That is if I don't flunk the drug test. I don't think it will be a problem except I have taken a ton of cold medicine this weekend trying to get over a sinus issue. Anyhoo, I had a interview with a large bank in our area last Thursday and got a call on Friday for a 2nd interview for today. They called about a hour later and offered me the position. Whoo Hooo

I will be doing something totally different but still within the mortgage industry, so I am excited to try something new. I have processed loans for the past 13 years and now I will be working in Loss Mitigation, helping people having trouble making their payments before they get to the foreclosure stage. I think this will be very rewarding and since the bank is so large there will be lots of room for growth.

I only have 6 days left of being at home so I am going to get busy and finish all these little projects I wanted to do. I think I will also catch a movie this week! Doesn't that sound fun!!!

On to something else CAN YOU BELIEVE THE BACHELOR?????? That was just to weird. I am thinking he is working on being a actor or something. I can't wrap my head around it just yet! Tomorrow night he will probably break up with Molly and Deanna will be back! I don't even know if I will watch the next one, Jason broke my heart and he is not the man I thought he was!!!!!!!!!

Gotta get to bed
Blessings,
Pam

p.s. Congrats to Candie on the win!!!!

Valentine Fun

At the end of January I signed up with Country Pleasures for a Valentine card swap. It was so much fun making cards for these sweet bloggers! I got so much pleasure from running to the mailbox to see my beautiful cards. I hope all the others did too! Thank you all who participated and big thanks to Sue at Country Pleasures for hosting.

These are all the cards I received. The heart laying down in this first photo is a heart made from a quilt and it is a needle holder. So awesome!
There are some talented women out in blogland.
I also want to thank Sue for the valentine clipboard that I won on her blog. I believe a little 8 year old angel has taken possession of it and I couldn't find it to take a picture. She is probably hiding it so she can keep it for herself.
Thanks again Sue for all the joy you brought to us this February!
Blessings,
Pam

100TH POST AND A GIVEAWAY

It is here. My 100th! Wow this has really been fun.

In celebration I promised a giveaway!

I plan to get back to scrapbooking this fall and winter and I invite you to join me. Maybe this will give you lots of inspiration.

50 MOMENTS SCRAPBOOK THE PAGES THAT MATTER MOST BY LISA BEARNSON.
This book has some great ideas. To enter please leave a comment on this post and I will pick someone Monday night. Good luck
I also plan to start A Week in My Life on Saturday. Where I will document each day with photos and journaling making a scrapbook at the end of the week. I have started this several times but I am determined to finish it this time. I would love to see what a week looked like from my mother or grandmother when they were raising their children. Wouldn't you?
You are welcome to join me in this too. I will be posting about the week here on the blog too. If you are doing it to, let me know so I can come see.
Can't wait for the 3 day weekend! That's the great thing about banking, we get all the holidays off.
Don't forget to leave a comment to try and win the book.
Blessings,
Pam
