House Showing and Other Happenings

We showed our house to a young couple last night. They gave us lots of compliments but we haven't heard from them. I think they are looking for owner financing. I told them we are not in a position to do that and then I gave them lots of ideas for loans. The house I wanted has sold already but we are still going to try and sell. There are lots of homes out there and if ours sells we will find one or rent until we do. If we keep waiting we will be here when grandchildren come.
Scott is home with the flu. I brought him Gatorade, orange slices and masks. I don't think he was thrilled with the masks but I am to busy to get sick. The $8000 tax credit for new home owners is coming to the end and everyone is trying to get in before the deadline. I like being busy but I would like to see it stretch out into next year.
Coco went on her first SEEK field trip today and made her first origami. I wanted it to put up for her scrapbook and she looked at me like I was crazy. She wants to play with it not glue it to a book. The fondness will fade and I will glue it to a book and she will be glad I did, someday!
Halloween is just almost here. I just don't get excited about this. Coco is going to be Alex from Wizards of Waverly Place. My Moms church is having trunk or treat so we are going up to help her with that. I have suggested this at our church but we have never done it. Things are changing there so maybe we can next year. We used to have a big fall festival with games and a cake walk, this year they are having a illusionist come perform. I am sure all the kiddos are happy about that. It would be great to see but not on the night that all the kids want candy! We'll see how it turns out, maybe I will be wrong and it will be a hit.
What are you doing for halloween? Traditional trick or treating?
Blessings,
Pam

It looks like they may extend the $8000 tax credit, that would be good.

Hello Pam, I will pray for you that the house situation will work out. My husband and I have been discussing putting our house on the market as well.

Hope your hubby feels better and that the flu stays clear of you and Coco!!

BTW, my kids are 18 and 16 so I am kinda missing the whole trick-or-treating thing!! So, have some fun for me!!

Hugs!! Carrie♥

Oh! We will pray that your house sells, quickly and in His timing. :)
